The truth, what’s good and what’s not
Incredible views from our room, and the breakfast platter was a delightful surprise! The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, providing helpful insights into local activities.
Limited dining options nearby made it essential to book ahead. The walk to town, while enjoyable, may pose a challenge during inclement weather.

we had an amazin stay for 5 nights at an-airidh. the room was super comfy with a fab view over the water. Alan was a great host, super friendly and helpful. brekkie delivered to our room was a nice touch, always delicious and filling. the location was perfect, just a short and easy stroll from the center of portree. even got to hang out with the cute golden retriever, katie, which made it feel even more welcoming.
only downsides were that the walk to town could be a bit challenging in bad weather, and would have loved if the bathroom towels were bigger.

Incredible views from every room, even on grey days, made waking up a treat. The modern, beautifully decorated bathrooms, complete with demisting mirrors, provided a nice touch of luxury.
While the location offered proximity to town, some found the walk challenging, particularly if the weather was harsh. Dining options were limited in the area, so planning ahead was crucial to avoid disappointment. noise from the surroundings could occasionally be bothersome and might detract from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

The spacious room had a beautiful view and came with a fridge and microwave, which was super handy. Relaxing with a cup of coffee in the large bathroom, complete with a towel warmer, made my stay even cozier. If I had to nitpick, bigger bath towels would have been nice, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. 😊
